FAQ

Yes, every entertainer listed on our website has a thorough background check, and proof of insurance is required for most gigs. Once you book a gig with the entertainer of your choice, the final step is to submit a small booking fee to AZpartygigs, to confirm the reservation. Then you will pay the remainder to the entertainer at the time of the performance. If the entertainer fails to show, AZpartygigs will refund your booking fee and possibly remove the entertainer from the AZpartygigs platform, depending on the situation.
It is free to list your gig on AZpartygigs.com. However, you must fill out an independent contractor form and complete a background check, which will cost $20 prior to being listed on AZpartygigs. For some gigs, you may need general liability insurance that you pay for and provide proof to AZpartygigs and that you remain current with your insurance. This can range from as little as $20 per month. Once a gig is booked, AZpartygigs will hold a small deposit of 10% (also known as the booking fee), submitted by your customer and you will receive the total amount due at your performance, minus the booking fee. Azpartygigs keeps the 10% booking fee. You are responsible for submitting and paying your own taxes.
AZpartygigs will add a profile picture, brief description, and your contact information. AZpartygigs will also provide support for issues between you, the gig owner, and your customers. Submitted reviews will be audited quickly and published on your profile space. We will work with customers first, before adding any negative reviews. You won't have to pay for and maintain your own website and we will provide most of the marketing for you.
AZpartygigs is most interested in if an entertainer has a criminal background, or any outstanding legal issues. We use online platforms such as BeenVerified and Peoplefinders, and once submitted, only takes a matter of minutes to be approved.
Yes! If a category for your gig is not available on our platform, contact Rebecca to request one for you, and she can add a new one to add you to. Keep in mind, that we don't allow certain adult entertainment, as we want to keep this website family friendly.
While you can acquire insurance for any gig, some do not need insurance to perform. For example, a singing telegram or a performance that does not require participation in activities, don't necessarily require insurance. Keep in mind that purchasing insurance is to protect you, the performer as well. For instance, if you have an animal party, and your pet bites a child, your insurance can help accommodate the medical costs of the injury. Insurance can get expensive, so we suggest using Insurancecanopy.com or a similar low-cost insurance option. You may even be able to get a quote from your own vehicle insurance company, as an add on service coverage.
For customers, the cancelation policy is 48 hours prior to the performance booked, with a full refund. For gig owners, 72 hours prior to the performance and must accompany a legitimate reason. The customer or the gig owner must request this cancelation by contacting Rebecca at AZpartygigs . AZpartygigs reserves the right to edit or change the cancelation policy at any time.
If a gig has not been canceled by the customer and fails to be available at the time of the performance, no refund will be given to the customer and the gig owner receives the booking fee in luau of their travel time. This may also result in the customer being prohibited from using AZpartygigs in the future, depending on the situation.
